Designed by Chris O’Shea, an artist with growing with latent fantasies of a giant hand that could tease passing by people. It is installed on Liverpool, England for the first time. In two words, it is a playful and charming idea!

Beware that some children might get scared on the presence of Big Hand on the screen.

Video is captured and screened on the live video billboard. Watch on the above video for best detail describing the “Hand From Above”.

The piece, titled “Hand from Above,” is best explained in video, but in any case it’s fairly simple: a live camera feed from in front of the billboard is overlaid with a giant finger, which has its way, such as it does, with rapt viewers. The tickling and teasing soon gets more severe, and before you know it, said finger is throwing you off of the pavement, or shrinking you into nothingness.
