Android 1.5 Smartphone – LG GW620

LG GW620 is the new Android base sliding QWERTY smartphone. The device could connect on dualband UMTS at 900 and 2100MHz and quadband GSM. It runs on 1.5 Android OS, let’s hit the play button and watch the ads…

It has 3 inches resistive touchscreen on a HVGA resolution. GW620 weighing 139g with dimension of 109×54.5×15.9mm. The device has 5Mp camera and for connectivity it has WiFi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth and USB.

The phone has 1500mWh battery that will provide long standby time of 700 hours on GSM networks (625 hrs on 3G network) along with continuous talk time up to 8.1 or 7.7 hrs for GSM/3G respectively.

Another feature on GW620 is the Social Networking Service manager that enable users to connect Facebook and Twitter together in to the contacts applications.

Captured photos could be viewed and also run through the facial recognition system to spot who is in the photo from your contacts. The LG GW620 is prepared for launching end of this year, no price and availability announced yet.
