AT&T Lightning USB Modem – 7.2Mbps HSPA 3G Band

New AT&T HSPA USB modem is not only compatible for 3G network, but also has a double speed the previous version reaching 7.2Mbps, making possible to connect to its HSPA 3G band. The new HSPA USB modem is called the Lightning.

Hence, the new service is only available in certain cities over United States. By this year end, areas such as Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles and Miami will have a deep speed. And for your comparison, Hong Kong is now reaching 21Mbps.

For installation, simply plug the Lightning to your usb port and it will automatically install the pre-loaded driver on the device’s flash memory. The LED indicators are showing connection status. It will also switch between HSPA 3G and Wi-Fi.
