Battery Powered TVs: Toshiba’s 24-Inch And 32-Inch High Definition Televisions

Could you imagine that one day, those high resolution televisions powered by batteries, just like those old days’ radios? Toshiba seems has the ambition to create world’s first battery powered HDTV, and of course, using rechargeable batteries.

Wonder how it would feel, having a 32-inch HDTV that is fully battery powered? Hence, mean time, the test carried out at Toshiba research centre has shown that it is possible to fuel up to 2 consecutive hours for its 24-inch PowerTVs before the battery running out and need another recharge.

toshiba-regzaNo info if its provides the same durability for its 32-inch HDTV, as the larger the television, the higher the power consumption. Toshiba has not leak out the related testing, whether using a 720p or 1080p HDTV.

No info on both pricing and availability yet.
