BookPlace BD50 tablet is the latest 7-inch color touch tablet from Toshiba that comes with Freescale i.MX535 1GHz processor, WSVGA with LED backlight LCD offering 600×1024 pixels resolution and 8GB of internal memory eMMC.
Equipped with a 7.5 hours battery life, 11mm thick and 330g of weight, Toshiba’s BookPlace BD50 tablet also offers Bluetooth as well as WiFi b/g/n connectivity and microSD card slot of storage expansion.
Expect to see Toshiba BookPlace BD50 tablet later in February with initial market starting in Japan, Toshiba DB50 will support Toshiba’s BookPlace store that comes with 50,000 titles of e-books and e-magazines.
