Joybook Lite U103 is the first Intel Atom Pine Trail Netbook from BenQ. The Joybook Lite U103 has a capability to recharge in a mere one hour time for 4.5 hours of battery life using the BenQ’s Q-Charge features. As a netbook, this U103 weighs only 2.4lbs, support 3.75G HSUPA, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR.
Joybook Lite U103 has a 10.1-inch UltraVivid LED backlit display and it has an amazing SRS TruSurround HD (or “HD 3D Sound” are included, giving you some great audio features on a notebook) and SRS CS Headphone for 10-inch netbook category. Besides, this Pine Trail netbook also comes with a 1.3 mp camera, dual drives storage totaling 500GB capacities and optional 32GB SSD storage.
The U103 runs Windows 7 OS and have two color options of Arctic White and Ocean Blue for you to choose from. As BenQ’s manufacturing plants are concentrated in mainland China, it will first meet the market in China first before heading for Taiwan and Thailand. BenQ is planning to release U103 starting 4th January 2010. No info on pricing yet.
