D-Link and Boxee have created a home digital video player, known as Boxee Box, the unit was designed by Astro Studios and users will get the feeling as if the cube is sinking into the flat surface or tabletop.
It has an HDMI connector for video as well as composite and optical digital audio. The Boxee Box will retail in Q2 2010 with full hardware specifications as what will be announced at CES this coming 2010.
On connectivity issue, network will be connected via an Ethernet port while two USB ports and an SD card slot will be available for data storage or transfer.
