Great Wall, a China base PC maker has recently introduced their new keyboard PC – Cross PC U510. The Cross PC U510 is pretty similar to Asus’ Eee keyboard pc, it has a small 5-inch touchscreen display on the right hand side and support WiFi 802.11n connectivity.
The initial order on the first batch of Great Wall’s Cross PC U510 has been sent to Beijing and it seems Great Wall PC manufacturer has the ambition to expand their business in the keyboard PC segment throughout the China’s market. Cross PC U510 is powered by Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor and NVIDIA Ion graphics, Cross PC U510 also equipped with 2GB memory and a 250GB hard drive.
The initial production of Cross PC U510 is equipped with rechargeable battery and a USB base cable for recharging.
Hence, the handwriting recognition respond is still quite slow and the price is targeted for upper class market. From the pictures above we could see the word “Full HD” on the keyboard’s box, but no details if the small 5-inch touchscreen display provide up to full-hd resolution or just a quality or not.
On the other side, the design and overall outlook has achieved significant progress and believably it will get better in the future production batches.
