Brief news on Dell’s 5-inch Android tablet PC released at CES 2010 in Las Vegas. The name is Dell Mini 5 or was rumored as ‘Slate’. The device has 5MP camera, on the prototype version it has a SIM slot and running Android 1.6 OS. The device is simply a combination of a cell phone and a mini tablet pc, in short it is bigger than smartphone but smaller than netbook.
No info when this particular phone-Internet-tablet will be available to the market or how much it will be priced yet. This is a teaser product from Dell for CES-2010 in Las Vegas. And according to news reported by Pocket-lint, Dell mini 5 will has a Wi-Fi capability and comes in pink and black casing colors.
Through further conversations with Dell we’ve also found out that the new Dell Mini 5 will feature a SIM card slot for use outside of a Wi-Fi hotspot.
