First Wibro Android Tablet: Samsung Galaxy Tab Appear in South Korea

A new Wibro version of Galaxy Tab is unveiled by Samsung in collaboration with Korea Telecom. You will get access to over 40,000 Korea Telecom’s WiFi zones throughout South Korea.


WiBro is a mobile broadband internet service establish by Korea Telecom that provide up to 120km (74 miles) per hour of moving speeds, with base service stations have a 1km coverage radius. Compare WiBro to those standard public wireless LAN services, which only reach 50 meters distance from the base station.

No info on availability or pricing outside South Korea yet.
