Gateway ID47H02u notebook is designed with Intel Core i5-2410M 2.3 GHz processor, 4GB DDR3 memory, a 5,400RPM 500GB HDD, 13.3-inch display, DVD burner, Intel HD Graphics 3000 GPU, and offering up to 8 hours of battery life.

Gateway ID47H03h notebook on the other hand, will be available in Canada for CAD799, 6GB DDR3 RAM, 750GB Hard Drive, NVIDIA GeForce TG 540M graphics with dedicated 1GB VRAM and Optimus auto-switching.


Another version of Gateway notebook that available in Canada is the ID57H03h, which offers a 15.6-inch display, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, with similar GPU and HDD to ID47H03h.

Meanwhile the US 15.6-inch version, NV55S05u, comes with an AMD A8-3500M quadcore 1.5GHz APU (that can overclock to 2.4GHz), AMD Radeon HD 6620G graphics, 6GB of DDR3 RAM, a 640GB hard-drive and DVD burner.

Battery life on the 14-inchers is up to 8hrs, while the ID57H03h can also run at up to 8hrs. The AMD-based NV55S05u can go for up to 4hrs, and has a smaller battery as standard. All of the new ID and NV models are on sale now.

All above Gateway notebook models come with an HDMI port, 1x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0, 1x 1.3-Mpix webcam, WiFi b/g/n, stereo speakers and running Microsoftw Windows 7 OS.
