This is not a war proof mobile phone, but we are talking about rugged PDA from Getac – the PS236. The device is dust and water resistance, making it an excellent field companion for professionals that always dealing with dusty, rainy or swampy field works that stands up to 12 hours on its battery life.
Getac rugged PS236 is using the Marvel PXA310 806 MHz processor. It has 128MB RAM, 4GB flash memory, SiRF Star III GPS receiver.
It has a built in 3.5-inches display with 480×640 resolution that are readable under sunlight condition.
The Getac PS236 comes in Yellow and Dark Gray color options. It has a 3 Megapixel camera, built-in Altimeter and E-Compass. It also has Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11b/g that work well for HSDPA networks, and of course a SDHC card slot.
This device runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro.
