Harris GR-100 System is a Wireless Location System to Track First Responders Inside Buildings released by Harris Corporation. Harris GR-100 is designed with unique accuracy enhancing algorithms, inertial sensors and GPS features to provide accurate position information.

Harris GR-100 System has the potential to become a life saver device, as it is capable to transmit and track location of firefighters as well as first responders within buildings, a feature that conventional GPS device could not achieve. GR-100 also capable to give room for on-scene commanders for better monitoring and coordination efforts.

The Tracker Module is designed for mount to the firefighter’s SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) frame, a wireless radio system to help firefighters communicate their current position to incident commanders outside the building.

And there is a rugged tablet computer for the incident commander and safety officer as the Commander Unit display. Location information in three dimensions is updated from interior personnel positions in every few seconds.
