Honda Solar Hydrogen Station – Honda FCX Clarity Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle : New Drive of Green Technology Has Arrived!

by Edward Xu on January 29, 2010

Honda has introduced its next generation of Solar Hydrogen Station as a prototype unit at the Los Angeles Center of Honda R&D America. The idea is building a single, integrated unit station which can be installed in each household’s garage.

The unit is designed to be smaller than its predecessor and can produce enough hydrogen for an annual commute reaching approx. 10,000 miles on fuel cell electric vehicle. A perfect match for the Honda FCX Clarity Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle that has begun leasing out 200 units in Southern California.

Honda Solar Hydrogen Station is a neat alternative energy refill station that will help you to ensure your vehicle emit zero percent CO2 emissions, in this way, you drive while contribute on slowing down of the global warming effect. For day time you could use the Solar power energy to run your vehicle while at night you could refill it with enough hydrogen through an 8-hour overnight fill.

This is an exciting human-made industrial revolution that hopefully will bring us to the next level of green technology,  a better world – a better future.
