The first high-end smartphone that will be revealed by Huawei on the upcoming MWC event in Barcelona would be Huawei Ascend D, the 4.5-inch 720p screen Android smartphone that comes with 330ppi pixel density, a quality that matches iPhone 4S.

Huawei Ascend D high-end smartphone is designed with 5.1 sound that allows users to enjoy beaming music and movies as part of their home entertainment center. Taking the thickness of 8.9mm, Huawei Ascend D comes with 1800mAh battery, powered by Huawei’s K3 chip, a Quad-Core A9 processor with a 16 GPU cores built-in.

The processor is cloaked at 1.5GHz speed, boasting a bold claim to be faster than Nvidia’s Tegra 3, as well as offering lower power consumption by up to a 50-percent reduction compare to Tegra 3!

There will be other models of the Ascend series, called Ascend D Quad XL that comes with a 2300mAh battery, and the Ascend D1 that comes with dual-core processor.



No info about pricing, other technical specs and availability in U.S, you could rest assured Huawei’s Ascend Series smartphones will be LTE-ready, stay tune for update…
