BRP-US6 is a 330grams external Blu-ray burner released by I-O Data. Users could easily connect the burner to a notebook or a USB 2.0 interface. Basic specifications include 6x burning for BD-R SL, 2x for BD-R DL/BD-RE and 6x reading with BD-ROM discs.
The burner itself capable of burning DVD-R/+R at 8x, DVD-RW/+RW at 6x, while DVD-RAM discs at 5x speed. Do you think this burner will be able to burn CD-R or CD-RW?
The BRP-US6 Blu-ray burner will be available in Japan later this month and it has a thickness of a mere 20mm. The full dimension is 137mm x 154mm x 20mm.
