Elektrobit (EB) is product design firm that works closely with big companies like Sony Ericcson and Intel. Their new MID design reference including the use of 3D, plasma desktop, and haptics for manipulating objects on the screen.
Pocketable is somehow EB’s tag for their reference designs. It’s latest design is larger than a cell phone at 5.3 by 2.8 by 0.6 inches (HWD) and contains a 4-inch touch screen.
With so many existing smartphone (iPhone, Palm Pre, BlackBerry Tour) and below 300 dollars netbooks in the market, doubt this will be another popular MID in U.S.
