LG 84-Inch UD 3D TV: 8 Million Pixels Per Frame!

LG has unveiled their latest and largest UD 3D TV for South Korean market. The 84-inch Ultra Definition 3D TV is capable to display up to 8 million pixels per frame picture quality, or about 4 times the existing 1080p Full HD TVs could offer owing to LG’s Triple XD Engine. The 84-inch UD 3D TV also capable to convert any 2D movie into 3D for more 3D content, while the Dual Play is to allow gaming opponents to simultaneously see different images on the same screen, offering a new experience for the conventional split-screen gaming or viewing.

LG’s newest Magic Remote allows users to intuitively access and navigate the Home Dashboard. LG’s Smart TV ecosystem now includes approximately 1,400 apps and ac-cess to a growing community of premium content services such as 3D World with a wide array of movies and games. Even more media content can be accessed via portable devices such as laptops, mobile phones, tablets and flash memory drives using Smart Share Plus.

This 84-inch UD 3D TV is introduced in response to the growing demand from the market for immersive and large type home TVs that enhanced with rich functionalities. LG’s 84-inch UD 3D TV will have smart features aim to offer greater viewing convenience as well as simpler interaction.

The 3D depth control is designed to allow viewers to fine-tune the distance between near and far of 3D objects as well as to make sure impressive effects on the large UD 3D TV CINEMA 3D display. Meanwhile the 3D Sound zooming is useful for analyzing on-screen objects and generate sound effects in correspoindign to the location and distance between object and movement.

Furthermore, LG also include a 2.2 Speaker system that consists of 2x 10W speakers and 2x 15W woofers, promising better audio experience to support the 3D visual effects for creating theater feeling at the comfort of users’ home.

The additional Resolution Upscaler Plus allows images from external sources such as hard drives and user-generated content websites to be rendered in higher detail. No info about pricing yet, but seems it is going to be unveiled for South Korea market prior release on any overseas market.
