Andrea Ponti has a green concept called Luce laptop that offers light-as-air form factor and two photovoltaic panels on the cover and keyboard for green electricity generation that suit the demand of highly mobile people.
Ponti’s Luce laptop concept will have polycarbonate-bound for the casing, transparent design with elegant outlook that allow sunlight to go straight through the case onto the embedded photovoltaic solar panels.
The lightweight idea is possible by taking off the conventional laptop battery and replacing it with ‘compact’ battery designed to suit solar power recharging.
If global warming and tornado still remain major problem in near future, should there be a better way to convert the heat energy and tornadoes’ energy into electricity? Until these technology are possible, for the meanwhile, solar energy is good one alternative for green energy.
