According to report by folks at Ubergizmo, this latest MacBook Pro model has started to ship from yesterday onwards, the MacBook Pro has a 2.3GHz quad-core i7 processor (Turbo Boost to 3.6GHz) with 6MB L3 cache, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 1GB of GDDR5 dedicated memory, 8GB of DDR3L RAM upgradable up to 16GB and 256GB of flash storage. Of course, it will include the new Retina Display.

The storage is using SSD flash storage of either 512GB or 768GB. One pretty disappointing point is the battery life, which does not have significance improvement for above 10 hours of continuous usage, but only up to 7 continuous hours.


For Apple’s MacBook loyal users, you ain’t going to miss this latest MacBook Pro version that offers 2880×1800 pixel density, 220 ppi for up to 5,184,000 pixels.

Claimed to be world’s highest resolution notebook display, where the 15.4-inch display should give strong point for buying this new MacBook Pro, which gives user a pixel density of 2880 x 1800, that is four times the number of pixels compared to the previous generation of MacBook Pro display.


Designed with 25 percent slimmer dimension compare to the previous generation of MacBook Pro at 0.71-inch and weighing 2.02 kg or about 4.46 pounds. This next generation of MacBook Pro also has 2x US 3.0 port (up to 5Gbps) and 2x Thunderbolt ports (up to 10 Gbps), 1x HDMI, 1x Headphone port and support SDXC card up to 64GB additional storage. Almost forget to mention, there is 2x MagSafe power ports, a 720p FaceTime HD camera, a glass trackpad, backlit keyboard, FaceTime HD, dual microphones, stereo speakers, 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
