The concept is brilliant. I’ve been a Massage Therapist for ten years. Sometimes I get a particularly unresponsive client and I wish they would communicate where and how they would like to be touched.
There is a saying in Chinese Medicine that goes something like: It takes longer to learn how to receive a massage then it does to learn to give one. When a client has little experience with body work it can be very difficult and ackward for both parties.
I can imagine a video game experience that would allow the player to try different techniques on themselves and get a sense of what there body responds well to and what they dislike. Knowledge is power.
A game, like a chair or a toy could never replace a human therapist but it could make the experence that much more enjoyable and therapeutic.
