A bipedal walking exoskeleton robot is now a reality! Developed by researchers at Nagoya Institute of Technology in Japan. Powered by human by shifting their weight around to get the thing to move, however, according to the researchers, the ultimate goal is to create a bipedal walking exoskeleton without much awkward gait, or one similar in Avatar’s movie.

It seems the time has yet arrive for the bipedal walking exoskeleton robot to have a natural walking sense. Following video will show you about the prototype version of the bipedal exoskeleton robot.

You could clearly see that the connection of metal pipe between the two legs are remarkably slow and not yet stable. There should more mechanical improvement on the exoskeleton.
