Honda is preparing two new robotic lawnmowers for European users starting next year. The two new robotic lawnmowers are coded the MIIMO 300 and MIIMO 500, where the MIIMO 300 offers a maximum perimeter cut of 300 meters, while the MIIMO 500 for 500 meters.

Honda MIIMO robotic lawnmowers are designed to cut 2-3mm of grass at a time, not bulk cutting, simply to make sure that your lawn is neatly trimmed. While the self-charging technology is designed to enable the lawnmowers to keep monitoring its lithium-ion battery’s level and automatically returns to the docking station when it needs to recharge.

Honda Miimo features three independent 360 degree ‘bump’ sensors, which detect a solid contact between it and any obstacle. If a bump sensor is activated, it will stop, turn and move away from the point of contact in a different direction. Honda Miimo can ascend slopes up to 24 degrees, and when it encounters patches of thick or long grass it will automatically reduce wheel speed but maintain blade speed in order to deal with tough areas effectively.
