WD My Passport Essential is launching their ultra-portable external hard drives 320GB, 500GB and 640GB. While for Macintosh computer, is called WD My Passport for Mac available in two capacities of 320GB and 500GB.

Both type of external hard drive is equipped with WD SmartWare software and military-grade 256-bit hardware-based encryption, the program will scrambles files before they are stored on the disk.
