Akimoto Yuji, a museum director of the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, Japan and Mitsuke Masagasu, also a Kanazawa base potter were two men behind the release of Nendo’s Circuit Board Speaker Ceramic. The 1mm thick high-end speakers are not yet available, but it is the first of a ceramic integration with high end speaker.

Nendo-Ceramic-CircuitManufacturing using computer controlled processes, Nendo’s Circuit Board Speaker Ceramic automated process involves shaving thin slices from thicker ceramic slabs, fixing them with mercury vapour and mounting all components with a robot arm, absolutely no touch of human hands within the manufacturing process.
