What will happen if a leading mobile manufacturer step into the portable computing market? Surely this is the fresh experience to explore wider and broader market opportunities, but being basically on the similar platform of mobile technology market, how far will the difference be?
And for the first time, Nokia, the reknown mobile phone manufacturer has begun the initial step in netbook market, presenting the first Nokia netbook – The Booklet 3G.
Despite of many doubts on Nokia initial strike in mobile computing market, its BookLet 3G netbook somehow appears to be an attempting teaser for mobiler.
And regarding the general specification on the BookLet, it is approx. 2.8lb in weight, powered by Intel 1.6GHz Z530 Atom processor, equipped with NVIDIA ION graphics chipset, a 10-inches LCD display with HD-ready, a built in A-GPS (plus OV Maps Software), an HDMI port, quality audio output and outrageous 12-hours battery life, the Booklet is expected preloaded with Windows 7 for the operating system.
No extra information on the internal hard drive storage capacity and the usb ports version. We expect going to be usb2.0 and minimum 500gb hard drive is more suitable to today’s technology demand.
While for the booklet cover color, there are 3 color options of blue, black and white for you to choose from.
Nokia is going to reveal more technical details about this promising netbook during the gathering at Nokia World on this incoming 2nd September.
As it has been named with ‘3G’, Nokia Booklet 3G has a built-in 3G/HSDPA connectivity and WiFi as the optional connection.
