A South Korea’s company, OCOSMOS Co. Ltd has unveiled their latest 10.1-inch Windows 7 tablet, OCOSMOS OCS9. Pwered by Intel Oak Trail Atom Z670 1.5GHz processor, the OCOSMOS OCS9tablet is the thinnest Windows 7 tablet with 2GB of RAM, either 16GB or 32GB on-board flash storage, optional LCD screen remote control with the Smart O-Bar, a smartphone ‘outlook’ remote control bar.

Scheduled for release early December this year, OCOSMOS OCS9 Windows 7 tablet is now available for pre-order in the United States. Its 10.1-inch touchscreen display is capable to deliver up to 1280×800 pixel resolution. Hopefully OCOSMOS will update the OS for Windows 8 starting next year.

Meanwhile, the Smart O-Bar itself is equipped with a 3.5-inch 320 x 480 resolution LCD screen, together with a gyroscope and accelerometer that connects to the Windows 7 tablet through Wi-Fi. You could also use the Smart O-Bar in conjunction with other peripherals, including tablet, including keyboard, mouse, games controller or even as a VoIP phone handset.


The system also allows users to stream multimedia content from OCS9 Windows 7 tablet down to the Smart O-Bar remote handset if required. Optionally, you could also get the HDMI docking station that supports both USB ports and ethernet connection.


Taking the dimension of 267 x 173 x 11.9-mm, OCOSMOS OCS9 Windows 7 tablet offers up to 6 hours of battery juice on a full recharge. For connectivity, you will find WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS.
