A handy digital camera with 10.1MP CCD sensor and expanded dynamic range for better low-light shooting is the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5. LX5, that is, in fact, the performance version of LX3 and designed with Power O.I.S image stabilizer, Intelligent Exposure, Intelligent ISO Control, Intelligent Auto mode and Face Recognition & Detection technology.
Planning for release in this coming August 2010, other features on this Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 including 3.8x optical zoom using its F2.0 ultra-wide-angle 24mm LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMICRON lens, capable to record in AVCHD format at 1280×720 HD video, mini HDMI output, 3-inch LCD display with high Color Rendering Index and backlight LED.
The Panasonic Lumix-LX5 also equipped with the Venus Engine FHD image processor for higher-speed and performance that corresponding to the Intelligent Resolution technology. There are two casing color of white and black you could choose from.
