Panasonic also introduced their portable blu-ray players: DMP-B500 and DMP-B100 during CES-2010 in Las Vegas. Panasonic DMP-B500 has a 10.1-inch LCD display and VIERA CAST internet functionality with Wi-Fi connection, VIERA Link, a SD memory card slot for JPEG image and AVCHD video playback and a USB port.
Meanwhile DMP-B100, has a 8.9-inch screen and a SD slot for just JPEG viewing. Both players support Dolby Digital and DTS HD audio. Both DMP-B500 and DMP-B100 will meet the market by Spring 2010.
Both of the portable Blu-ray disc players are designed with the company’s PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus, a device that will let the blu-ray player to precisely processes each pixel of the Blu-ray Disc video signal in the vertical direction. No info on pricing yet.
