Announced on IFA 2009, the new Philips HTS8160 SoundBar, complete with integrated Blu-ray Disc player. It support BD-Live and include the Ambisound technology, plus DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD for high fidelity 7.1 surround sound.
It offers touchscreen control and has a stylish design with aluminium finishing and glass panels. The Philips SoundBar will be available in Black (HTS8160B) and White (HTS8161B).
FullSound feature is to bring CD listening experience to compressed MP3 music, Clear Voice for more audible vocals in movies and music and DoubleBASS for fuller and deeper bass.
So far, no info on availability date and exact pricing yet.
