We hardly hear about the SSD manufacturer from Japan, probably because of the language used are pretty different from ours. But speaking of game, gaming, and its related devices, Japan is definitely one of the giant in the industry. And speaking about durable storage for gamers, PhotoFast is one of a few brand in Japan that offer quality and durability to its users.
Presenting the PhotoFast’s G-Monster compat 1-inch mini SSDs, TypeS and TypeZ. Both of the SSDs are using SATA interface. We keep wondering why Photo Fast does not use the eSATA interface instead to provide ease of access as USB interface does?
TypeS connects using standard SATA cable and power cable like ordinary SATA hard drive.
TypeZ is designed to plug directly to the motherboard.
Both type are available in 32GB and 64GB capacities, it has an offer of 110MB/s write and 60MB/s read speeds. PhotoFast’s 1-inch SSDs are really compact. They measure 45mm×37mm×7.5mm and weigh just 10 grams.
While for working environment, the device itself is built to be compatible with Windows Vista/XP/ 2000 SP4 and MacOS X.
