Microsoft Entertainment & Devices Division President, Mr. Robbie Bach is sharing his view about Microsoft’s ambition for Xbox 360’s Project Natal in 2010 with Engadget in following video.
The first point is about Project Natal, what have been rumoured for released end of last year has been pull back to 2010. And according to Robbie, Microsoft is attempting to provide full-body interaction to the game console, that will be perfect breakthrough on the previous Project Natal. And Microsoft is going to release the console within 2010, but no info which quarter of the year it will finally appear yet!
The second point is about the so-called Xbox Game Room concept, that will likely to provide 1080p resolution, will be free for users to download. Customization options are mentioned in the fact sheet, but pricing for these features is not addressed.
At launch the xbox game room service, it will include 30 original arcade titles — with “over 1000″ planned for the future — from multiple publishers, including Atari, Activision, Intellivision, and Konami. A list of 31 confirmed titles you could check it out here. The Microsoft Game Room itself was developed by third-party outfit Krome Studios, which supposed to bring back that retro fun to gaming.
Hopefully this will a major breakthrough in global gaming industry and an era where 2010 will be the year of 3D and live motion gaming.
