ASiQ, Australian company that recently released SafeCell mobile phone application, is claimed to be world most ‘affordable’ mobile phone calling system for private jet. Carrying the price tag of USD12500, this would be a little gadget for your half a million dollars private jet.
ASiQ’s CEO, Ron Chapman told the media that base on the survey conducted by the company, majority corporate jets have inexpensive satellite link onboard, and ASiQ SafeCell is a complement gadget to be connected to the satellite link using bluetooth , ended up providing affordable mobile phone voice and data solution.
ASiQ’s SafeCell data application will be available for Nokia, Blackberry and other Symbian-based mobile phones and PDAs with Android shortly. For Apple devices, you will need to spend additional bucks for configuration fee, as iPhone likely comes with restricted bluetooth capability.
