Samsung has introduced its latest high density 4GB mobile DRAM that offers double-data-rate 2 (LPDDR2) storage technology early this month.

The 4GB LPDDR2 high density mobile DRAM will help the mobile industry to deliver a lighter, thinner and slimmer shape of smartphones, tablets or other mobile devices and likely to offers longer battery performance with 25 percent less power consumption owing to the smaller dimension at 0.8mm.

Moreover, Samsung’s 30nm 4GB LPDDR2 mobile DRAM is designed with 1,066Mbps data transmission speed, doubling current MDDR that offers average speed of 333~400 Mbps.

It requires only two pieces of 4GB LPDDR2 mobile DRAM to get you whooping 8GB memory space and thus greatly saving space and create more flexibility of design.
