Samsung has officially announced the pricing for both Galaxy Tab 8.9 and Galaxy Tab 10.1 Android tablets, adding two new slim members for the exisiting Galaxy Tab family.

Both Galaxy Tab 8.9 and Galaxy Tab 10.1 will have 8.6 mm thickness, claiming to be the slimmest mobile tablets in the market right now! Moreover, you will find a dual-core 1GHz Intel processor, 3MP main camera with LED flash and Auto Focus feature, 2MP front camera that designed for video chat, either 16GB, 32GB or 64GB internal storage and an amazing 10 hours juice on its 6800mAh battery for usage time.


For display, both Galaxy Tab 8.9 and Galaxy Tab 10.1 offers 1280×800 capacitive touchscreen, 3 MP main camera with Auto Focus and LED flash and a 2 Megapixel front camera for video chat. You will find accelerometer, digital compass, gyroscope and ambient light sensor on both tablets as well.

On connectivity, you will find Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, support for quad-band GSM/EDGE and quad-band HSPA+ mobile connectivity and WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n. The touchscreen display is further enhanced by Samsung’s TouchWiz UX/4.0 user interface and pre-loaded with Adobe Flash 10.2 Player. Other features including QuickOffice HD document editor, Samsung’s Social Hub, Music Hub, Reader Hub apps to support your mobility needs.


Galaxy Tab 8.9 is only 470g while Galaxy Tab 10.1 a bit heavier at 595g. Galaxy Tab 10.1 is promised for release by June 8th while no release info on Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 yet.
