The first portable HD camcorder that appear to be a rival to Flip Mino is Samsung HMX-U10 10MP.
Positioned as portable HD Camcorder, this little jewel from Samsung is a bit sexier than the flip mino hd camcorder.
Samsung HD Camcorder HMX-U10 has support 1080p full HD recording, obtaining crystal clear 10 megapixel lens sensor, a few point greater than Flip UltraHD which support only 720p HD video.
Taking dimension of 56 x 103 x 15.5mm, weighing 95grams, you could bring the Samsung HD Camcorder around with you when traveling. It has the same 2-inch screen size at the rear panel similar to Flip UltraHD, but it has more elegant touch on the look and feel.
Samsung’s built-in software Intelli-Share application will automatically install the necessary application to let you access the portable camcorder’s once you plug it into your PC or laptop.
The HMX-U10 Camcorder will be available in US starting September 2009, however no further info on the exact date of launching.
