In the past, many computer users failed to backup their valuable data due to inconvenient “size” of storage device and the troublesome of installing the backup device.
But thanks to advance of storage technology, computer users could now get a portable “mini” storage device with minimum installation troubles and ease of big files transferring.
Samsung’s External Hard Drives S Series comes in 2TB 3.5-inch hard drive called S3 Station and the 640GB 2.5-inch portable storage device coded as S2 portable.
The larger 2TB external drive is aimed directly at computer users who need to back up large files and the drive has a small footprint and a glossy black case for good looks. Both of the new drives include security features like Auto Backup, SecretZone, and SafetyKey.
While, the 640GB HDD has a usb 2.0 port to ease files transferring. It could store up to 128,000 digital images, 160,000 MP3 tracks, or 77 hours of HD video, a handy external hdd. The existing S2s are ready for the capacities of 500, 320, 250, 160GB in black white red color options.
S2 Portable 640GB will ship in September while the S3 Station 2TB is shipping early next year.
