Seagate Barracuda XT – 7200RPM 2TB HDD

Claiming to be the world’s fastest, largest-capacity mainstream desktop hard drive. Barracuda XT 2TB has 7200 RPM with four platter and areal density of 368Gigabits per square inch.

The Barracuda XT uses SATA port of 6Gb/second interface that is going to be demonstrated at the IDF.

The hard drive also maintains backward compatibility with the SATA 3Gb/second and SATA 1.5Gb/second interfaces.
