UK base company, Elgato is announcing the EyeTV DTT Deluxe TV micro-stick. As the name implies, this device is a “tiny” DVB-T tuner stick, the size is even smaller than a usb stick. Probably the smallest DVB-T tuner stick in the world!
It is a powerful digital TV (DTT or Freeview) reception device, that could deliver both 720p or 1080i HDTV (MPEG-2/H.264/AVC). The package bundled with a telescopic aerial and a rod antenna to enhance the tuner’s receiving quality. You could get a MacBook Air or the slimmest Dell Adamo for this micro stick tv tuner!
The device is compatible for both Mac and PC. It is able to run on Windows 7 OS and works well with Windows Media Center. You could use the device to record unaltered DVB stream full MPEG-2/H.264 quality video. The micro-stick TV tuner also supports Dolby Digital sound and DVB-T multilingual programming.
