Eco-friendly cell phone is getting higher market awareness nowadays. Sony Ericsson Elm and the Hazel with the VH700 Bluetooth headset is one of the green cell phone on the market with distinct shape and design.
The Sony Ericsson Elm, Hazel cell phones and the VH700 bluetooth headset are manufactured using to environmental benefit and help reduce CO2 emissions through:

* E-manual in phone;
* Free from hazardous chemicals;
* Low power consumption charger (EP300 GreenHeart);
* Walk Mate eco application;
* Green calculator;
* Minimized packaging;
* Condensed user guide (VH700);
* Waterborne paint (VH700).
Sony Ericsson Elm and Hazel both comes with auto focus camera with face detection and geotagging. Both of them have 5 MegaPixel camera and equipped with bluetooth, built-in media player with MEGA BASS, A-GPS and WiFi.
The Elm comes with a 2.2-inch display, while Hazel has a 2.6-inch 240×320 LCD display. Both have up to 280MB internal memory and offer a microSD card. They work in quad-band GSM, and support HSPA networks as well. The Hazel comes in Superior Black and Passionate Rouge while the Elm in Metal Black and Pearly Rose color options.
For hands-free device, Sony Ericsson also introduced the VH700 Bluetooth Noise Shield Handsfree. It comes in Black, Silver/White, Red/White and Pink/White, Sony Ericsson’s VH700 has a clip-on design and supports Bluetooth 2.1.
The Elm will be released in first quarter this year while Hazel will be released in the second quarter along with the VH700. No word on pricing yet.
