Latest addition to the NEX Series handycam is the NEX-VG30, along with the 35mm full frame NEX-VG900. The NEX-VG30 is meant for replacing the NEX-VG20, designed with XGA OLED Tru-Finder EVG the same to NEX-VG900 for high-contrast image monitoring. At the core, this NEX-VG30 has a 16.1 MP Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor that supports capturing Full HD 1920×1080 video at 60fps, or 24p progressive frame rates.
Sony’s NEX-VG30 is capable to capture 16 Megapixel still images with support for RAW output, as well as recording continuous burst rate of up to 6fps.
This 25 point Auto Focus NEX-VG30 Handycam is equipped with quad Capsule Spatial Array Stereo Microphone that supports 5.1-channel audio recording, 3-inch Xtra Fine 270 degree swivel LCD display, HDMI output and E-mount for using A-mount lenses through optional LA-EA2 adapter.
There are various features, including CinemaTone technology for deepens color and recreates film-like color tones, aperture and shutter speed priority or manual exposure control, besides the advanced controls offer expanded focus, zebra and peaking as well as Picture Effects for adding more expression into your photos and videos.
