Corsair a brand of choice for stability and performance, has added a second line to its solid-state drives tailored to performance users.

The Extreme series uses a fast controler from Indilinx and multi-level cell storage from Samsung to push its speed near the peak of the field.

Extreme series’ SSD hard drives from Corsair have a reading speed up to 240MB per second and is paired with a maximum write speed of 170MB per second.

The Corsair’s 2.5-inch ssd hard drives come in 32GB (X32), 64GB (X64) and 128GB (X128) capacities and would support flash hard drives present in Windows 7 and other operating systems.

Corsair doesn’t provide pricing but says each capacity should be available through resellers almost immediately.
