ThinkPad X1 is the latest, 21.5mm thick laptop from Lenovo that packed with Intel’s Core 2.5GHz i5-2520M processor built base on Sandy Bridge platform, integrated Intel HD graphics chipset, a rugged 13.3-inch Gorilla Glass screen, 160GB SSD, 8GB RAM, 3MB cache memory, 16:9 aspect ratio and 1366×768 resolution.


Other features including WiFi 802.11a/b/g, Bluetooth 3.0, supports 3G Mobile Broadband, Gigabit Ethernet port, waterproof keyboard, trackpoint, fingerprint reader and a HD Camera. For audio, it has HD Dobly Home Theater v4, and up to 5 hours battery life using the Li-Ion 38.4Wh battery that offers 1000 cycles rapid charge technology, you could get 80 percent charge condition for 30 minutes of short charging.

Lenovo’s ThinkPad X1 will come with a dimension of 231 x 337x 16.5 to 21.5mm (WxDxH), weighing 1.36 ~ 1.72 kg. You will find built-in devices of HD Stereo speakers, wireless LAN antenna, Bluetooth antenna, cellular antenna and four-in-one SIM card reader (capable to read SD, SDHC, SDXC and MMC cards).

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 will go for Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Edition for the OS, and Lenovo has confirmed that ThinkPad X1 has passed Energy Star standard and passed U.S military standard for low pressure test at 15,000 feet, humidity, vibration, temperature and dust ruggidity tests.

You could also get your prefered OS language of English, German, French, Italian or Switzerland. Lenovo is giving generous 3 years (on site) and 1 year battery warranty. Expect to see Lenovo ThinkPad X1 by this May 20th at Tell IT’s website.
