Wireless Charging Trend: Nokia Lumia 920 Windows Phone 8

Business Alliances between Nokia and Microsoft seems getting sweeter these days! A press event that will be held today is going to unveiled Nokia’s first Windows Phone 8 along with other details about Microsoft’s Windows 8 OS.

Meanwhile, @evleak has tweeted about the “Nokia Lumia Charging Pad”, an inductive wireless charging solution which will support the ‘Qi’ wireles power standard that will be compatible with other wireless charging products.

Above picture shows the upcoming Nokia Lumia smartphone sitting on top of a pebble on a conductive charging mode, it seems wireless charging is going to be the next new wave of trend that will hit mobile electronics devices market earlier than we expected.

Hopefully the new Nokia Lumia will be able to keep the smartphone market interesting by offering new features that do not exist on other smartphone such as Samsung Galaxy S3. Nokia Lumia 920 is rumored to have 32GB on board storage, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4.5-inch HD display and 1GB of RAM.

Expect to read more about the new Windows Phone 8 smartphones as well the new Nokia 920 smartphones on today press event.
