World First 2560 x 1600 Projector – ProjectionDesign F35 WQXGA

For those fond of gaming using high resolution LCD, you must have heard about Dell 30-inch monitor that provides rocking 2560×1600 resolution. However, a projector that has achieved the 2560×1600 resolution is somehow none or did not exist in the market.

But not until the F35 WQXGA Projector released by ProjectionDesign.com. The projector is capable of throwing an image of up to 65 feet wide, supports 720p and able to deliver up to 1080i. The projector measures 376 x 510 x 223mm and weighs 12.6kg.

The contrast ratio for the projector is 8000:1, inputs include DVI-D, dual HDMI 1.3, dual VGA, and component. It uses Texas Instruments WQXGA DLP chip and brightness are rated at 6500 lumens.

This projector is taking the resolution of 30-inch LCDs were having. The F35 is going to hit market in the second half of 2010. No info and pricing yet.
