Yamaha Sound Gadget PSG-01S was announced last Friday together with its Projectphone PJP-25URS speakerphones that are certified compatible to work with Skype calls.
The Sound Gadget PSG-01S is entirely USB powered and it doesn’t need any drivers. Functioning as a personal speaker, PSG-01S is meant to cater small conference rooms or home theater rooms, where more than one individual is at one end of the conversation.
The PSG-01S is equipped with automatic sensor to detects the position of the projector, whether it is horizontal or vertical. And by changing the direction, it will automatically switches to either a Skype-ready speakerphone or to a stereo speaker mode for music playback when horizontal.
Both devices have echo and noise cancelling feature, while the dedicated Skype control buttons can activated on Windows PCs once the included software is installed.
The PSG-01S should be coming sometime this September or early October.
