Samsung has released the 7 Series and 9 Series HDTV/monitor that offers 3D-ready feature with asymmetrical design and modern outlook. Both Samsung 7 Series and 9 Series HDTV/Monitors are designed with Samsung’s signature Touch of Color technology, offering lively colored accents in the bezel for a stylish outlook.

Samsung SyncMaster 7 Series consists of S23A750 (23-inch), S27A750 (27-inch), while the 9 Series are S23A950 (23-inch) and S27A950 (27-inch).


Both 7 Series and 9 Series Samsung SyncMaster HDTV/Monitors are designed with 2ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 1920×1080 Full HD resolution and 170/160-degree viewing angle. Both 7 Series and 9 Series Samsung SyncMaster HDTV/Monitors also has Ethernet LAN port, SRS TheaterSound HD, DTS 2.0 and 3D sound support, other features including US2.0, component input. The 7 Series offers HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, while the 9 Series offers DVI-Dual link port.

S23A750 (23-inch), S27A750 (27-inch), S23A950 (23-inch) and S27A950 (27-inch) have integrated Samsung’s 3D technology for displaying 3D images, and Samsung TN LCD panel. Both series of above SyncMaster models are capable to analyze and render automatically in real-time, any 2D content to 3D, supporting computers, Blu-ray players, gaming consoles and set-top boxes.

The line between HDTV and monitors are getting vague these days, predictably, that one day, monitor and TV are in one same unit of device, without having to dig your pocket for monitor anymore!

Expect to see more 3D enabled HDTV/monitor from Samsung in March 2011.
