EX-ZR1000 is the third generation of Casio EXILIM digital camera, enhanced with new GUI, powered by a 16.79 MP CMOS image sensor, 24mm wide-angle 12.5x optical zoom lens with Multi-frame SR zoom for zoom range up to 25x.

Casio EX-ZR1000 includes all-in-focus macro, which selects only in-focus areas from continuous shooting of images at different focus settings for generating a composite image with every area coming out in focus. Alternatively, you could get the background blurred, creating soft blur effect in background scene.


The HS Night Shot feature is useful for capturing beautiful photos at minimal or dim light conditions thanks to the maximum ISO 25,600. EX-ZR1000 requires minimum start-up time of 0.99 second, the high-speed auto focus at 0.15-second, 0.26-second shooting between frames and it is capable to perform high-speed 6fps continuous shooting.


The Slide Panorama and the Wide Shot function combines continuous shots taken with high-speed continuous shooting when the user is moving the camera to create a super-wide-angle (equivalent to 14 mm or 18 mm) shots. The EX-ZR1000 offers manual shooting and supports RAW image shooting. It is capable of Full HD 1080/30p video recording as well.


There is a 3-inch LCD display that could tilt up to 180 degrees, helping users to shoot photos or self portraits from various angles. The HDR-ART function is combining continuous shots with differing exposures while performing advanced analysis to locally change the intensity of contrast and color saturation, while the Premium AUTO PRO feature for analyze automatically the shooting scene and select the best settings and perform image processing.

The camera comes with a function ring mounted around the lens, which can be used to adjust zoom range, exposure value (EV), shutter speed, manual focus, and white balance.
