New Android base computer unveiled by General Dynamics is Itronix GB300, a rugged 3.5-inch arm or chest mode computer that has similar operation to an ultra sensitive commercial GPS unit or a tactical radios such as Rifleman Radio. General Dynamics Itronix GB300 complies to MIL-STD 810G military standard for ruggedness and designed with ARM 600MHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, 8GB internal flash memory storage and 256MB of RAM.


Itronix GB300 computer uses SIRF Start III GPS chip and quadra-helix antenna for real-time positioning and it has a microSD card slot, USB 2.0 port and the 800×480 display is sunlight readable similar to E-ink technology.
