If you have been to the CES 2010 early this year and have voted on the Lenovo’s Skylight smartbook, you will need to be more patient for the release date.

According to news from laptop magazine, the Skylight’s international released date has been pushed back to July from the original April time frame. This is probably a strategic decision from Lenovo and AT&T in order to make sure the product is fully ready to be released into the market.

Another interesting point is, will AT&T and Lenovo consider the ‘smartbook’ as a tablet, netbook or laptop to be more appropriate? Or it will stand for its own market, despite the launched iPad for eReader market?

According to Lenovo, “With any new product that we introduce, we owe it to our customers to get it right and we would rather take the little extra time that sometimes takes to finalize a product.” Hopefully Lenovo and AT&T’s efforts would be a fully baked one when July rolls around.

No wording on pricing yet.
